With a budget of $300k, we promoted a sweepstakes through a digital campaign. We shot 21 videos over two sunny days in L.A. and North Carolina. These are my favorites.

Step one: develop an app. Easy enough when you have an incredible team of designers, coders, and creatives working together. Step two: promote the launch with radio, in-store collateral, and online videos. It was one of the largest projects I've worked on. It was also one of the most successful.
Within the first week of launching, it was the #1 download in Apple's AppStore. After the first month, it was on 5.1 million devices, and had 1.9 million active users.

Founded in 1864, Dime is Brooklyn's oldest bank. They love their neighborhood, and they care deeply about their neighbors. This campaign celebrated the local celebrities who make Brooklyn the one-of-a-kind place that it is.
I count myself lucky. The very first headline I was paid to write was for Boudreaux's Butt Paste. That was in 2012. I was an intern; It was a Facebook post.
As time went on, and Social became more robust, my eventual partner and I developed a "Mommy's Diary" concept that was implemented on Instagram in 2015.
When it came time for the 2016 refresh, we pitched the idea of "The Mamas" - baby's favorite person, and our best brand advocate. The idea: leverage the word-of-mouth that already exists, and empower these ambassadors with the best title they could ever hope for: "Mama."
Below is the latest iteration of buttpaste.com. While I was not part of that project, I'm happy to see The Mamas live on.
It's easy to find an excuse to stay inside in Houston. Especially during the Summer. Nonetheless, we found a way – through a fun giveaway – for Houston's Parks & Recreation Department to encourage outdoor activity.
The print ad is foundational to everything in our industry. And while the medium may get buried under the flashier media buys that exist today, it's important to remember what it is: print is the foundation.
If something can't be expressed as an idea on a simple piece of paper, you must ask: is it simply not an idea?
